Lucas Heights Community School's Happy Week has been a huge success! Our school was filled with happy faces, bright colours, joyful music and even dancing goats! We started off the week with face painting and happy quotes handed out to all students. Music playing from the speakers in the playground had the whole school bursting with happiness. Tuesday brought along a lot of pink and purple in memory of Jessica C, and even baby goats on our morning assembly. Photos and videos made everybody happy in the gym at lunch. Wednesday saw our school light up blue for the Light it Up Blue Foundation and a happy mural (soon to be featured in the canteen) was painted by our talented HSC art students. Friday brought green to the school to raise awareness of depression. There was a Students Vs Teachers dodgeball game...with the students dominating as expected. Overall it was a very happy week and over $500 was raised for the three foundations.
